Game Cube Games
There are many different game cube games, which are all incredibly fun and unique. The system has been around for about 20 years, but the games are largely underrated. The first game I want to mention is DreamMix TV World Fighters, which is an excellent clone of Smash Bros. It also features characters from Konami, Hudson Soft, and Takara, including Solid Snake. You’ll also find a number of great fighting games in this unique system.
Super Mario Sunshine is an interesting and flawed game, lacking the inspired kaleidoscopic madness of Super Mario Galaxy but with a very appealing aesthetic. Super Mario Sunshine is also notable for its inclusion of water squirting sidekick FLUDD. With him, you can perform jetpack-style maneuvers on Mario’s platforming. Metroid Prime is another notable game that was often overlooked by game lovers. It was much better than Wipeout, and it was a unique take on the series.
Twilight Princess is another game that was originally supposed to be a GameCube title, but the GameCube version just feels better. The Wii version of Twilight Princess allows you to tilt your sword horizontally, but the GameCube version allows you to use your Wii Remote vertically, and you can also freely control the camera. Availability of this game is an issue, however, since it is difficult to find used copies of the game.
